Arbonne Social
As Arbonne’s social content expanded, we saw an opportunity to create greater visual cohesion while bringing the channel into closer alignment with Arbonne’s evolving brand identity.
ROLE / CREATIVE DIRECTION · DESIGN LEADERSHIP
SCOPE / SOCIAL STRATEGY · ART DIRECTION · DESIGN SYSTEM
Balancing product, people, wellness, education and community through a visual system that feels elevated, current and distinctly Arbonne.
THE DESIGN PRINCIPLE
FLEXIBLE STRUCTURE
A shared framework that adapts to different content.
RECOGNIZABLE BEHAVIOR
Recurring typography, composition and graphic devices.
CAMPAIGN EXPRESSION
Space for launches and monthly color stories to shift without losing the brand.
Building the System
TYPE + COMPOSITION
A flexible set of typographic compositions creates recognizable brand behavior across different content needs, while a defined mix of image-led, type + image, product-led and graphic-led content creates variety and rhythm across the feed.
Challenging the Design
STRESS-TESTING THE SYSTEM
I invited the design team to push the initial direction against real social content, testing different copy lengths, formats, imagery and feed combinations. The process revealed where we needed more flexibility and where stronger visual principles could create greater cohesion.

What We Learned
IMAGERY CREATES RHYTHM
Macro product shots, lifestyle imagery and detail crops help break up text-heavy and video content, creating stronger visual rhythm and stopping power.
FLEXIBILITY IS ESSENTIAL
Templates need to adapt to changing copy lengths, international markets and different content types without losing hierarchy or consistency.
COHESION HAPPENS AT THE
FEED LEVEL
Rather than making every asset look the same, recurring color stories, image treatments and typography create continuity across a varied mix of content.
The Updated Grid
The system comes together in the feed, balancing product, people, wellness, education and campaign storytelling within one cohesive visual world. Flexible typography, image-led storytelling and shifting color stories allow the content to evolve while maintaining a recognizable Arbonne point of view.
